Name: Alexander Rees
Age: Eighteen
Sexuality: Straight
Grade: Junior
Clique Jocks
Description:
Standing at a height of nearing 6 feet tall, Alexander Rees, just like the rest of his brothers, had indeed inherited his father’s genes. Being a tall kid since young, Alex could not imagine being any shorter than he was now, because it would then made him feel odd. View-wise, at least.
Height was not the only genetic make-up that he had gotten from his father. His hair, like his father, was of dirty blond in color, and was not the way he really liked. When Alex had reached his early teenage years where vanity thrived, he had wished for his hair to be more like his mother’s, brown and dark. He would have dyed his hair, of course, but if given a choice between dying his hair and wearing the same underwear repetitively for a week straight, the boy would go for the latter. That was just something secretively personal, of course. If there was one thing Alex cared about regarding ‘vanity’, it would definitely be his hair. Usually seen spiked up, Alex made sure his frequent water sporting would not affect his hair condition.
The eighteen-year-old always laughed it off when people told him he had the good looks. Alexander had a strong jaw line, and pretty defined face features. Even his lips were not thin, thank god! Definitely it felt good to received praises about his appearance, but what caught many people’s attention was said to be his eyes. They were not fierce, but soft, not cold, but warm, and not a piercing blue, but a calm shade off the oceans. Blue. His favourite color.
Personality:
People ultimately labeled Alexander Rees as a jock. He is well-known to the point of popularity. Rees is athletic, thanks to water sports. The boy has an inborn affinity with water sports discovered when he was still in elementary school. Since then, oceans and pools became part of his life. With his frequent visits to the beach, Alex is tanned, not to mention lean and toned.
The eighteen-year-old loves the night life. He practically grew up in a music-oriented family, and clubbing is one crazy way to dance loudly. Alex especially loves girls that can let go of themselves and dance with him. That is confidence, and that is purely sexy. However much he loves clubs and pubs, Alex will avoid alcohol at all costs if possible. Trained himself, he did, but a tiny dosage of alcohol will affect him no matter what. It is a sad fact that Alex had grew used to.
People always misunderstand Alex, believing that his looks and image can only mean that he is a flirt and most probably a downright jerk. These people could not be more wrong. Flirting is inevitable, but Alex does not hit on just anyone. Fooling is one thing, but love is another thing. Alex had only gone through one serious relationship back when he was 16, and it had lasted for a little more than a year before the girl wanted out. It was a difficult period for Alex, but he will not allow himself to change his principles about love.
Now, you might think that you know Alexander Rees, but it does not stop just here. The blonde is naturally good-tempered, but puts up a tough fight when majorly disturbed or pissed. He is prideful, and therefore never really confides with anyone unless he trusts that someone a lot. He dislikes being seen as a weakling, and therefore prefers to keep private affairs to himself. He is friendly, definitely, but strangers, ‘aloof’ and ‘cold’ does not mean you had gotten the wrong guy.
History:
It was an accident. Alexander Rees was an accident. The boy let out his first wail on a chilly night. It was the fourth of October, 1990, and unconsciously, Mrs Rees felt her heart dropped when the gender of her baby was let known – another baby boy. Both parents had wanted to stop at two children, but when Mrs Rees was pregnant again, she couldn’t possibly kill her baby with abortion. Then, they had decided to keep the baby’s gender a mystery, because disappointment was best to be avoided if the baby was not going to be a girl. Indeed, Alexander Rees was definitely not a girl, and a boy through and through.
Alexander grew up in a life most boys would probably kill to live in. His father ran the LUTRK-International Records Company, thus giving him enough glimpses to the glorious music industry, while her mother, a beautiful lady, was a fashion consultant. While Mr Rees spoilt his boys with exposure to music and its key players, Mrs Rees had groomed her boys well, too. However good his life was, Alex faced communication problems with his parents, especially his father. Maybe a mere five-six years of difference was already equivalent to generation gap, because Alex was way different from his brothers. Alex’s brothers were more artistically-inclined, just like his parents, while he was not that strong with arts. While his brothers had gone ahead to world famous Arts schools to pursue their interests, Alex could not, much to his parents’ disappointment. Forgive the kid; at least, the boy had tried.
Who cares about Arts? To Alex, he took pride in his athletic nature. When younger, there would always be trips to beaches, pool sides. These trips inculcate a different personality in him. He took up wakeboarding, mastered surfing, got addicted to water polo, and was totally in love with swimming. Surrounding himself with a totally different group of people had led the boy to indulge in a wild and crazy lifestyle as well. He began to stay out late just so as he could party all night long. His group of pals would hit pubs and clubs, flirt around, and carried on with life.
It was during these period of his life he met a girl that slowed his life down. She was a stranger that swept him off his feet. Conversations lasted through nights, and laughter was shared. She was the only one that was able to tear down the walls he had built against intruders and gossipers, and he could only put down his male-pride for her. Alex was determined that she was the one, until their relationship was put on a test when she moved overseas after a year or so later. It was a tough time for Alex as he bottled his feelings up, though he would only break down behind closed doors. One still had to pick himself up and moved on with life, and Alex knew it well. Partying, slacking, late-nights and flirting was Alex’s current lifestyle. If only his parents were younger by ten years, ‘liberty’ would be a foreign word.
